Garden Walk

 

Start at 520 N. Washington Street! Tickets are $15/person and can be purchased there. 

 

Whether you're a gardener or just enjoy beautiful outdoor settings, the gardens showcased are certain to plant a creative seed. This year, expect a festival-like atmosphere with music, plein-air artists painting, art for sale, and two wonderful 1-hour workshops in floral arrangements by a local florist.


We are excited to showcase some special gardens again this year. Gardens are not just beautiful, they are masterpieces. The talents and creativity of the garden owners brings this year's Garden Walk to the level of other similar fundraiser events around the country.


Start with getting your tickets at the C.B. Little home at 520 N. Washington St. The general location of the Garden Walk will be either side of N. Washington Street; the first home will be on N. 1st street and the last home on West Thayer. Within the 7 yards, expect to see interesting plant and flower beds, great landscaping plans and fun garden décor.


The Garden Walk is Theo Art School's Annual Fundraiser. When you participate in the Garden Walk, you help Theo Art School provide art classes, art camps, and art supplies for all ages in the Bismarck metropolitan area by raising funds that will go towards full scholarships and low cost tuition. Our mission is to continue Inspiring Young Artists! Sharing the Love of Art, and Creating Art experiences that will last a lifetime!

Cost: $15 per person

After purchasing your ticket(s), you will receive a confirmation email. Please print your confirmation and bring it to any of the gardens to receive a wrist band.

Enjoy your Garden Walk:

  • A hat, sunscreen, water, and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. A summer day in North Dakota is often sunny and warm.

  • Gardens open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 3:00 p.m.

  • Street parking is limited; carpool, if you can, and be prepared to walk a short distance to each garden.

  • Gardens may not have chairs or benches; be prepared to stand and walk.

  • Do not clip or injure the plants in any way.

  • Please respect the owners' privacy. Come only on the day of the Garden Walk. 

  • Take only one copy of any available handout.

  • Turn off your cell phone or set it to vibrate only.

  • Smoking is strictly forbidden.

  • No strollers, pets, food, or litter, please.

  • Children must be supervised at all times
