Welcome to a summer of creativity at Theo Art School! This is my 9th year offering our Annual Art Attack Summer Camps! What’s in your Summer?!
Our Summer Art Camps were developed to offer parents and their children a refreshing and inexpensive alternative to other camps by creating days filled with engaging and enriching sessions in the arts. When school is out Theo is in!
Whether it’s sculpting, using oil paints, pastels, or creating art pieces, our mission is to provide a dynamic, nurturing environment that encourages children to discover their unique creative talents.
It is our hope that children who join us this summer will come away with new skills and confidence that will encourage them to further explore the diversity of their world.
Registering for camp can be confusing! We understand. In an effort to make the process as organized and painless as possible, we offer you a Parent's Camper Confirmation Packet that includes forms, rules and guidelines, and what to bring. The What to Bring list will help you organize that backpack! The Rules of Day Camp are important; we ask that you read and discuss the rules with your child. Knowing what is expected of her/him and how she/he will be protected and respected at camp makes the first day much more comfortable for everyone!

Camp Information

Each day of the camp, the camper must be signed in and signed out by a parent/guardian with a Camp staff member present. Children may not be dropped off at the door or sign themselves in/out.

We encourage parents to send their kids with plenty of snacks. Theo Art School will provide 2 healthy snacks.

Please dress to get messy! Aprons & T-shirts for campers are available.

Closed-toed shoes are advised: please, no flip-flops or sandals.

The art studio can get cold, even in the summertime. Please send a sweatshirt or sweater with your child if this could be a problem. Also send an extra set of clothes in case of minor accidents.

The Circus has arrived at Theo to start the summer! A Circus Carnival full of art projects, vibrant colors and circus animals!

JUNE 10-14: JUNGLE! - camp is past
Jump with us into this jungle adventure! A Jungle with colorful animals, bugs, trees, flowers and much more!

JUNE 17-21: ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS - camp is past
Campers will create art with rocks, paper, and scissors! They will learn to draw with scissors like Matisse; and just for fun we'll spin some painted rock paper weights!

JUNE 24-28: PLANES, TRAINS & AUTOMOBILES - camp is past
All aboard! Campers will be creating their own “transportation” from various objects. Creating/Painting! Traveling and learning about all forms of transportation through art!

JULY 8-12: DINOSAURS - camp is past
Campers will learn all about different dinosaurs and have fun making their own dinosaur fossils. Using basic shapes to draw and collage dinos! A dinosaur mask will be part of this great creative camp!

JULY 15-19: GARDEN & FLOWERS ART TREK - camp is past
Drawing and painting flowers, campers will create a small succulent garden. And guess what? Birds and trees will be coming alive with our clay project!

JULY 22-26: PUPPIES & KITTIES - camp is past
Get ready to get messy! In this camp we will explore all kinds of fun ways to make art all about puppies and kitties using unexpected materials! Pink Kitties? Purple Dogs? Why not? It's all about having fun with ART!

JULY 29-AUGUST 2: RAINBOWS & HORSES - camp is past
Are unicorns horses? Acrylic is the medium of choice to create beautiful horses and rainbow landscapes. Other art projects will bring sparkles and sunshine!

AUGUST 5-9: TEDDY BEAR PICNIC ART TREK - camp is past
Homemade playdough and Teddy Bear birthday batch: Bring your teddy bears and friends to our picnic! We will create watercolor and magic art!

AUGUST 12-16: BUTTERFLIES & BLUE SKIES - camp is past
Butterflies in the sky! Big and small butterflies. Watercolor landscapes, mixed media and the campers’ creations of painted paper will make the morning full of colors!
